I am Anthony Kingsley, the travelling copywriter, the travel agent who is also a copywriter. Or is that a copywriter who is also a travel agent?
The starting point is a travel agent. I run a travel agency Anthony Kingsley @ Not Just Travel. During the first of the 2020 covid lockdowns, when travel dried up, I decided to use the time to improve my copywriting skills for my business.
I took a level 4 course with the Blackford Centre, and two courses from the “Godfather of Digital Marketing” Ryan Deiss.
Then as lockdown persisted, I was asked to write some copy for a friend, and was then referred to another business to write the copy for their new website.
And so The Travelling Copywriter was born.
I am a great believer in continuing education, and continue to read widely on copywriting and content marketing, business development and improvement, and on other subjects which I think might help your business and mine.
I write on a variety of subjects including law, child care, business, marketing, lifestyle and of course travel. I am always looking to develop into new areas of writing, and so will add to my portfolio of subjects.
My skill lies in taking a complex subject and translating it into more simple language that your customers will understand and to take the actions that you want them to take.
My experience in copywriting comes from running a business (a travel agency) as well as a children’s soft play centre and nursery and an English Language School for International Students. These varied experiences help me to understand running a business better which means I am well placed to write effectively for your business. I understand people.
I also understand the pressures that businesses face. The solutions I propose are made in the real business world, not just from the pages of a theory book.

Travelling
I travel quite frequently as a travel agent. Will this affect my ability to complete your work on time and to the highest possible standard?
If nothing else, the pandemic showed us how realistic it is for us to work from home without any loss of efficiency.

As well as helping you by writing for your business, I can also arrange your travel, business or leisure, or both (bleisure as it is sometimes described). I run my travel business through one of the largest travel franchises and so have access to most of the well known travel suppliers and a number of trade only providers.
Not Just Travel is regulated under ABTA, which means that any travel booked through me is properly regulated and your money is protected.
